The value for the money at Sunset Lodge was excellent - clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great amenities. The location was convenient, just a short drive away from Pictured Rocks. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they even had an adorable baby!

The motel offered two great features that made our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect for our Christmas getaway, with easy access to nearby attractions and outdoor activities. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We were pleasantly surprised by their warm hospitality.

I really appreciated the vintage shower with a tile seat, perfect for those who may need to sit while showering. the hotel staff even upgraded our room to a three-bed one, which was a pleasant surprise. the value for the price was exceptional, especially since we were traveling with three boys for a hockey trip. the towels were nice and the TV was a great addition. Being a pet-friendly motel, there was plenty of space to walk our dog. the AC worked efficiently and the fridge kept our drinks cold. We also loved having a very good restaurant right next door. I was impressed with the cleanliness and remodel of the facility, and the location was perfect for our travel needs. I'm already looking forward to staying here again. Cons: For us, it was ideal. 😊.

I stayed at Sunset Lodge for a few nights and it was perfect for my travel purpose. The location was great and there was a fantastic family style restaurant right next door, which came in handy after a long day of travel. The rooms have been updated and are clean, with comfortable beds. The decor is modern and the bathrooms are spacious and cute. The staff was helpful and accommodating, providing me with extra coffee and a hairdryer when I requested them. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

our stay at sunset lodge was incredible. after a not-so-great previous experience in escanaba, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and the friendly staff. the bed was comfortable, the vintage shower was a cool touch, and the three-bed room was a bonus. overall, great value for a hockey trip with our boys.

I stayed at the Sunset Lodge for one night while passing through the area. The room was impeccably clean and the staff at the front desk were very helpful, even late in the evening. I appreciated the no-frills accommodations, as I just needed a comfortable place to sleep. The nearby restaurant was closed, but I was able to order delivery from Pizza Hut and grab breakfast at the restaurant next door. The location, right off the highway, was also convenient.
